Here you will report directly to two of the eight Partners. The two Partners that will mentor you have a wealth of experience, 20+ and 30+ years behind them. They sit on the board of various charities and companies. They both value strong training and development for their team and enjoy being hands on with their staff. You will often find the Partners on the floor with you or in your office helping your learning curve not hidden away behind a door.
The portfolio you will assist with is in excess of $2.5M. Clients are mainly SME’s with turnovers up to $50M. Majority of your clients are HNWI and family groups and can be at any stage in their life cycle from starting up to expanding internationally or winding down. The industries are vast however should you have a specific interest the Partners do encourage you to speak up as they are happy to juggle clients around to fit each individual’s passions.
Progression here is a given as there is a Management role on hold for the successful Assistant Manager to move into when settled and ready. This team likes to try to promote from within as much as possible, however there is currently a gap which has allowed for this rare external hire. The Partners are keen to hire a driven energetic Assistant Manager that wants their leadership skills refined and developed in order to be the best Manager possible to their team.

To be considered for this opportunity you will have 6 or more years of experience as an Accountant within an Australian Accounting firm environment in Business Services / Taxation. You will be degree qualified and have completed your Chartered Accountant studies.
